This large house is perched high on a north-west facing headland with magnificent views overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The owner wished to have extensive garaging for his cars and a total remodeling of the 1950 house in the European style. New piers were placed at the entry gates and wrought iron was detailed for panels in the balustrade and on the Juliette balconies. A magnificent new entry forecourt was designed with further garaging at this level which provides access to the kitchen, laundry and dining area. A total renovation was made and with its generous terraces and ample balconies it is a work of non aggressive, well proportioned architecture.
